PriyoVision

PriyoVision is an initiative of ethnic Bangladeshi Australians aged less than 31 years.

PriyoVision acknowledges that while young Bangladeshi Australians have been born into a Bangladeshi home culture, their everyday reality is the Australian culture that all Australians live and interact within. It's a unique blending that has required PriyoVision members to develop their own survival mechanisms - whether that be to take all these cultural influences and combine them to make something that is meaningful to them; to fervently hold onto their parents’ Bangladeshi cultures even more strongly; or contrarily, decide to adopt the patterns of the Australian culture they live in.

PriyoVision seeks to provide an opportunity for young Bangladeshi Australians to interact with each other, and empower them to organise and represent their own unique interests.

PriyoVision is a dynamic organisation that is representative of the interests of its members. PriyoVision aspires to provide an inclusive forum for all Bangladeshi Australians aged less than 31 years, and cater to the diverse needs of its membership. PriyoVision aims to celebrate its members’ unique Australian - Bangladeshi identity. It recognises that difference and otherness, but it also embraces the difficulty, challenges, joys and rewards of growing up with Bangladesh’s rich cultural roots.
